Skills for Life (English & Maths) courses can help you improve your skills in areas like, percentages, or perhaps long division. More than 8/10 adults in England would like to improve these sorts of skills.
We run courses that can show you how to surf The Internet, send email, and carry out popular computer based tasks such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations and Databases. We can also show you how to use a computer from scratch if you are a complete beginner.
We also courses for people setting up their own business, and courses covering key business skills like Finance, Training Staff and Customer Service. If you run a business, one of our specialist advisers will be happy to visit you.
You could combine your learndirect learning with some of our own courses that might help you if you are looking for work or a change of direction. We also offer these courses to employers. Food Handling and the Construction Skills Certificate are two of our most popular ones. If you combine these with a little bit of Skills for Life learning, we can often offer these free.
