Aaden Hallam (Business Advice Direct’s consultancy arm) has worked very closely with a number of Business Links since the mid 1990’s.This experience has led us to develop one of the UK’s finest ranges of practical business skills training workshops. Naturally these are now blended with material from learndirect. Many of the trainers who deliver these workshops are known on the national stage of enterprise training delivery. We welcome people who are serious about starting profitable businesses and those who have already taken that step.Popular subjects for our Business Skills training include selling skills, customer service, book-keeping, marketing matters, how to start a business, financial planning and credit control.

Business Advice Direct employ a group of business advisers who have vast experience in all of the key fields that our client businesses might need. A common way of beginning a new relationships would be an informal, without obligation, discussion which might include a mini business health check. These are often at no, or low, cost, and our adviser would come back to you with some proposals that might assist your business.

All of our advisers are members of the Institute of Business Advisers and are all members of professional institutes in their specialist fields. We pride ourselves on employing business advisers who have “hands on” experience of starting and managing their own businesses. We find that our advisers are very swift in their analysis of what makes our clients businesses tick.

Alongside providing quality guidance in areas such as finance, business planning, recruitment, book-keeping, and legal issues, we also pride ourselves in our specialist area — direct marketing. This means that in particular, we are leaders in the field of advice covering direct mail, databases, telephone marketing, electronic direct marketing and field sales.
